MOM2B Trade Show fills the gap in one of the hottest and fastest growing industries today: Maternity. The trade-only show is the first of its kind, giving a direct platform for designers and manufacturers to showcase their wares to potential buyers. According to a recent New York Times article dated June 8th 2006, the maternity wear business leaped 28% in sales from 2000-2005 whereas the overall womens clothing market showed a mere 2% increase. MOM2B Trade Show is the one-stop show to provide the future mom to be what she deserves during her nine months of pregnancy: From stylish clothing for a Buddha belly, beauty products for radiant skin and ample new figure, pregnancy snacks and drinks for energy, baby shower gifts for the little lump of love. From inside out, head to foot, belly to baby's arrival; much like pregnancy itself, MOM2B is about growth and possibilities. With maternity clothes virtually mirroring non-maternity clothes, from Ts to Gowns, and new gadgets for the expecting mom hitting the market on a daily basis, we thought it only natural to bring these products and their suppliers together, says Laura Anglin, one of the show partners. The Show will take place at the fashion-forward Cooper Design Space in downtown Los Angeles. Located across the street from both the California Market Center and the New Market, with over 22,000 square feet of open, converted industrial space which includes floor to ceiling windows and skylights.
