UPSIDE is the international alternative fashion fair organized by Japanese fashion designer TAKAO SUBOUCHI who has become part of the Milan fashion scene after many years of Italian living. In February 2004, UPSIDE started with 8 designers who used the event to gain international exposure in the world fashion market and to become known for talented original fashion design. After 3 editions not only has the number of the participants increased (32 Upsiders at the last edition), but also the quality of the show has progressed wonderfully. Now, UPSIDE is one of the most anticipated trade shows for international buyers and journalists.
