Its a little bit country, but make no mistake, you won't be wearing Project Alabama's femine designs in the pig trough. Project Alabama works mostly with cotton jersey utilizing beadwork embellishments and airbrushing. The designs are extremely feminine and allude to Sunday picnics, perfect for Central Park. The common theme of layering only increases the lady-like crisp feel of Project Alabama's line leaving uptown divas wanting more. As an added perk, the ideology behind the vivacious clothes is respectable in its own right. The line is a result of over 150 artisans working together in attempts to revitalize the texile industry in a small Alabama town. The clothes are reminscent of a 1950's housewife and the effort put forth during production is conveyed in each perfectly tailored garment.
