Based in Berlin,Clara Kraetsch and Doreen Schulz the designers behind c.neeon have been gathering awards like Smarties since they graduated from Kunsthochschule Berlin Weissensee in 2004. The LFW scouts spotted their work at the Hyres International Festival where they won the prestigious Grand Prix this year and invited them to apply for New Generation which they were duly awarded. Their chosen title c.neeon is an amalgamation of their childhood nicknames.

The popular duo whose collections major on strong graphic prints with a hint of Mondrian and silhouettes with intriguing volume and architectural, asymmetric shape began their label while still at the KHB college where they originally met. They have both put in time working for other designers; Clara, who is the textile arm, worked at Bless in Paris, Bivak in Antwerp and the German design company Toni Gard in Aachen; while Doreen, the fashion arm, assisted Darja Richter in Paris and Bernhard Wilhelm in Antwerp. Last year they won the Galleries Lafayette Fashion Channel competition and have since exhibited three times in Japan.
