Designer and founder Ana Colagrossi decided to take a break from her professional career in order to focus her time and energies on raising her three children. With constant family trips to Brazil she was continually moved by the work of Brazilian shoes craftsmen and developed a personal passion to create her own business in the United States. Inspired by her own kids, a collection of handmade shoes for children was conceived. The business perfectly answered her desire to continue working with children while utilizing her creative talents in design and art.

Ana's vision for Little Raggio comes from what she saw as a clear void in the children's shoe market for classic and fashion shoes designed especially for children and their lifestyles. The collection combines the fine art of shoemaking with unique styling, craftsmanship, and the finest materials.
