Miroike was founded in 2004 in Berlin by Ramiro Calderon Alvarado and Ulrike Seidel. Both graduated from the University of Arts Berlin, in the class of Vivienne Westwood. Miroike is available in Berlin, Los Angeles, Melbourne, New York, Osaka, Paris, Tokyo, and soon in Toronto. The style of Miroike celebrates classical elegance with a charming edge, creating a high-end aesthetic of Nouvelle Vague. Miroike prefers a reduced selection of garments uniquely finished out of eclectic and organic materials like silk, wool, cashmere, and linen; worked out in sober but feminine pattern cuts expressing a high-end craftiness.
