Pulver (which means Power in German) was created i n 2003 by Therese Arrow, Franziska Piefke, Elizabeth Scot, and Franziska Writer, to express their commong conception of fashion. They were awarded the Bread & Butter Foundation Award the same year. The graduates have since worked in New York and London with such designers as Hussein Chalayan, Rubin Chapelle, Cynthia Rowley and Nigel Curtiss. Working as a team of four equal designers is the core starting point for the elaboration Pulver. Collections develop out of aesthetic differences and conguences, only to find new solutions in the process. Although the design team is constant, Pulver always tried to include creative artists from all disciplines into the different phases of the emerging collection. In 2004, Pulver was selected for the Labo Mode at the Galeries Lafayette in Berlin; in 2005 they presented their collection in Japan.
