Men's Clothing and Accessories Collections. One of the characteristic traits of Pitti Immagine Uomo is that it is structured in sections: ambients distinguished by furnishings, signs and exhibition solutions which vary from one section to the next whilst remaining unmistakably "made in Pitti."
This formula reflects the many different contemporary styles and, at the same time, promotes a prolific comparison between the two great worlds of menŐs fashion: formal/informal. Two areas of style which are finding an increasing number of points of contact, identifying evolutionary lines where suits are no longer seen as a rigidly codified models but as a language of style and, at the same time, leisurewear becomes the object of increasingly sophisticated and multi-faceted stylistic research.
The nine sections of the show are: Pitti Uomo, Futuro Maschile, Uppercasual, Affinita Elettive, L'Altro Uomo, Fashion/Design, Ynforma, Sport and Sport, Urban Panorama. A subdivision called New Beats showcases new designers and new lines that have potential but are still under the radar.
Organized by Pitti Immagine and sponsored by the Centro di Firenze per la Moda Italiana.
