The style Council outlook for Men's Fall / Winter 2007 includes four main themes: Folkster, Rock'n Roll Road Trip, Grandpa's Closet and Surplus Style.

Folkster

- Garish
- Overworked
- Plush Surfaces
- Peasant Style
- World Culture
- Folky, Graphic

The immense heritage of culture, craft and artisans the world over, influence this patchwork of style. Garments are personalized and made precious with decoration. Flamboyant, graphic folk motifs from Peru to Russia, give an eccentric appeal. Rustic wools are stitched on heavy canvas and dyed denims. Plaids, fairisle and Nordic patterns are re-worked in vivid, saturated color combos. Plush surfaces are printed and embellished. Cut work and stitching cover skins and suede. Shirts and tees are adorned with oversize almost garish images, accented with intense embroidery. Traditional peasant styles; ponchos, vests, caps, scarves and bags are re-discovered and re-decorated. No surface is left untouched. A random, exuberant collection of pattern and color.

Colors: A humorous, vivid palette tamed with dark, vegetal tones. Spicy orange, deep berry tones, mustard and chocolate with bright flashes of olive, saffron yellow, sky blue and fiery red.

Rock 'n' Roll Road Trip

- Function and Hand Me Down
- Revamped Graphics
- Personalized and Customized
- Dirty Denim and Canvas
- Over Scale Plaid
- Sexy Bad Boy

Brooding, dangerous, devilish, living life on the open road. Wandering dusty, desert trails to Rocky Mountain States. Combine function with protective leathers, heavy duty canvas and hand-me-down found pieces. Biker, band, tattoo, tourist and repair shop graphic tees are revamped with overprinting dye jobs and customizing treatments. Dirty, oily denim is bleached, printed and hand embroidered in na•ve ways to personalize. Over scale lumberjack plaids and go-faster stripes appear on shirts worn over tanks, over tees. Two jackets becoming one, layered and patched with charms, beads, feathers, studs and bright flashes. A slept-in, sexy, all American bad boy look.

Colors: A workwear palette, dirty denim, oily blacks, concrete, steely grays with glimmers of chrome, primary yellow, racing red and engine green.

Grandpa's Closet

- Deconstructed
- Patched and Loved
- Classic Patterns
- Country, Outdoor Graphics
- Textures
- Authentic and Revived

Re-discover grandpa's favorites. Timeless style in classic fabrics and patterns. Argyle, boiled wool, chunky knits, paisley, corduroy and pinstripes. Revitalize herring bone, plaids and tweed with fresh color ways. Combine the story with tie patterns, scenic conversationals, hunting, fishing and outdoor graphics. A well-worn, lived in and loved feel, sometimes bordering on deconstructed and disheveled , with inside out features. Leather, suede and skin prints add a distinguished, luxury element.

Colors: A palette soaked in history and nature. Earth tones, rich mossy greens, worn stone and bark combine with moody slate, vivid claret and warm ochre.

Surplus Style

- Military Insignia
- Nose Art/WWII
- Worn, Used
- Contrast of Texture and Scale
- Uniform Style
- Authentic Feel and Finishes

Utilitarian style. Inspiration comes from the rich history of military uniforms and equipment, authentic details and finishes. Large rough weaves and chunky knits are printed, appliqued and embroidered with badges, crests and shields. Nose art from WWII fighter planes, aviation and military insignia. Tee shirts and sweats have oversized graphics, garments are worn, weathered and torn. Cargo style stencils, large gesture splashes and textures contrast with discreet geos and conversationals . Outerwear is heavy and ready for the elements. Accessories are functional; thick scarves, multi-pocketed bags and smart, fur lined caps.

Colors: A functional palette with brighter accents. Field greens, drab olive, gunmetal grey, dirty neutrals, air force blue, golden-brass yellows, parade red, royal blue and classic khaki.

Insight. Innovation. Authority. In 1982, TSC's founders harnessed more than 10 years of industry insight working for the top designers in New York and Paris, and an intimate knowledge of Asia, to realize their vision-a superior one-stop studio that combined the manufacturing, design, and merchandising processes under one roof. Armed with an intimate understanding of their clients needs, TSC hired the best creative and tech design team in the industry and an innovative new studio was born. Next, TSC enlisted a seasoned sales team with first hand knowledge of the industry, as well as relationships with the top retailers, designers, merchandisers and manufactures here and abroad. And while TSC's objective never changed, our clients' challenges of competing in a global market did. To meet those needs, TSC invested in the smartest technologies and expanded its basic concept to include a total design facility, capable of taking projects from concept to completion. With a focus on employee stability and an ability to move steps ahead of the trends, TSC is now the country's leading design and service studio. What we design and how it is manufactured today is different from what we made last season, last year, twenty years ago. But the essence of TSC hasn't changed; we continue to be creatively driven and technically innovative, with a fashion forward insight on knowing what our customers need.
