FISH FINDING WATCH
Fishing is looking very '007' these days with the release of the Hummingbird Fish Finder Watch.

The large and clunky electronic fish finding equipment of the past which looked more like a bad prop from the Dr Who set, has been replaced with this incredibly clever and compact device. Taking the form of a wrist watch, the sonar sensor unit operates within a 75 meter radius and scans ocean depths of 120 meters. The floating sensor attaches to your fishing line and transmits the images of the fish onto the LCD screen on the wrist unit in real time. Like something out of Star Trek, the wrist watch is the command center controlling functions such as the fish proximity alarm, sensitivity level, depth range, and fish identifier. With 400 hours of battery life under its belt, there's no excuse to let the big one get away.

IT'S NIKE TIME

It's bright yellow, stylish and tough as they come. Its the new Hammer watch from Nike along with the new cuff watch and the Oregon Series. If you have gone through more watches than underwear in the last year, you are either need to improve your personal hygieneÊor get tougher watches.

These hot watches from NikeÊare the last stop in tough watches. Totally shockÊresistant and waterÊresistant to up to 50 meters, they are this Xmas must have gift.

CABLE ID
We've all had that uneasy feeling when faced with the task of unplugging a cable amongst a sea of cables. Ok, maybe that's a bit of an overreaction, but the point is that if you have more than two cables plugged into a power strip and you cannot see where the cables begin, you have less than a 50/50 chance of unplugging the correct item. Not very good odds. Sternform Produktdesign out of Hamburg, Germany has come to the rescue with the design of the Cable ID. This product is a true marriage of form and function. Its helix shape and labeling area allows for you to properly secure and identify the cord with the item in which you intend to unplug. This product is reusable and will save you plenty of headaches. by Isla Verde

CABLE WINDER

Tetran is an amazingly adaptable product that serves the primary purpose of winding up your iPod's earbuds and cables to keep from dangling. Adaptable, you ask? Yes, due to the myriad of functions that includes decreased blood pressure since you can take out your frustrations by squeezing this prickly product and feeling hella good after the fact. Included is a belt loop chain, cell phone strap and key ring to allow it to tag along for whatever the day has in store. by Isla Verde via elmanco blog

TWISTED PSP FILMS
PSP's hate bad media; so, instead, let them savor twisted films. For example, New-York based stop-motion studio PES, is specially proposing 5 short films downloadable on your Sony portable console. Entertain your neighbours with the porn film involving two chairs ("Roof Sex"), the Diesel commercial, KaBoom!Ê depicting a bomber attack in a city made by toys and assorted festive objects, or with other amusing and aestheticly pleasing short short films like, Fireworks , Prank callÊ or Dogs of War. To be enjoyed right now while still fresh atwww.eatpes.com/psp.html. by Yvan Rodic

SMS PET TRACKING SYSTEM
What a world we live in. We can stop hair loss, improve weight loss, and now perfect the art of 'pet loss' or rather 'lost pet'. The new PET TRACKING SYSTEM pet collar is the revolutionary way to find a lost pet through the use of 4 satellite systems and a simple SMS/ GMS message.

Here's the deal. Fido has been watching too many Lassie re-runs and is lost ..again!Ê Rather than send the whole town out looking for him, you simply call the telephone number of the particular pet collar. The satellite antenna on top of the collar then zones in on any number of signals from at least 4 satellites, the collar then sends the location of the lost pet back to you using the GSM & SMS network on your phone. It's precise within 15 meters of the lost pet even across continents!
"Hi master, I wandered off to the Antarctic, take a left at the first iceberg and come get me". After the pet is returned safely, violins begin to play and the Lassie videos get thrown in the bin. All's well that ends well.by Andy G

The representation of three-dimensional objects on a surface so as to produce the same impression of distance and relative size as that received by the human eye is a practical definition of perspective. LIGHT UP YOUR LIFE

If you thought lights were the only objects that need Ôilluminate', think again. Illumination is becoming something of a trend, with everything from glow in the dark headphones to slippers, cufflinks and even basketballs are now on the market. The former, which are being pitched as an absolute must-have iPod accessory, are made by Ibeat and come in six different colors including fluro green and hot pink. THE PODBRIX
egos are popular. The iPod is popular. PodBrix should be popular. These minifigs are inspired by the world's most popular mp3 player. Did you ever imagine that you could carry over a thousand songs in one pocket and a thousand PodBrix in the other?Ê by Isla Verde

I.D YOURSELF - WORLD'S 1st FINGERPRINT PHONE
The high-end mobile phone markets of Europe, Asia and the Middle East are the principal demographics to experience the world's first "fingerprint-recognition" phone by Pantech, and only time will tell if the rest of the world will be ready for the revolution that the GI100 will initiate; if not a revolution, then a jealous tirade by the competition. Bleeding-edge technology meets second-to-none design elements with this phone. This featherweight (82g) delivers a serious KO to the ubiquitous world of cell phone features, function and design. This phone has a serious intelligence quotient in that it allows for the Secret Finger Dial to dial specified phone numbers that are identified by each unique finger print (for a total of 10). I told you this kid was smart! The phone comes pre-loaded with 64 polyphonic ringtones, can save up to 800 numbers and allows for 2.5hrs of voice recording. I don't think any of the proverbial stones were left uncovered with this product. by Isla Verde

PHILIPS DESIGNS IT BETTER
In a bid to be seen as innovators (rather than peddlers of electrical goods, we assume) Philips launched 25 new design concepts in Paris at The Simplicity Event at L' Espace Grande Arche (in September). The range included fascinating gadgets, such as the Momento which records short movie clips and replays them as floating fragments in a glass ball, and the Looklook, a camera that sends your shots a mobile phone instantaneously or projects them onto any surface. The Chameleon, a lamp shade that changes to match any color you 'show' it.Herbarium, an intelligent greenhouse designed to provide the best climate for growing health-giving herbs from smart seed pads. LED Bulbs can be (re) adjusted by twisting for the color and atmosphere right at the source.Ê Brave New World here we come. via wmmna

PKOH NYC Ð Earbud Clip

It's not a stretch of the imagination to imagine (or have actually experienced) the unfortunate situation of tangled earbud cords when storing our mp3 players. Time to chalk up one more function for impact-resistant polycarbonate; The Earbud Clipcreated by PKOH NYC is a godsend. This product was truly made for the immensely popular iPod and co-ordinates beautifully with it; the product can be used with other mp3 players as well. The inability to damage your earbud cords or scratch your beloved portable music player is a testament to the compactness and craftsmanship of this product. by Isla Verde

TRACKING YOUR KIDS
The IonKids system from the firm Bluespan allows parents to give their young children some autonomy in the context of their environmentÉ.to a certain point. The child wears an aesthetically pleasing Wristag that has the capability of communicating with a PDA-like Base Unit that would be near a caregiver. If the child wanders too far away, the wireless communication kicks in and the Wristag sends an alert to the screen portion of the Base Unit and the parent can effectively locate the child's position. It seems like this product is quite an upgrade to silver bells on the shoes. Kits start from $199, you can order from here by Isla Verde

MEGA IPOD

THE PUZZLE ALARM CLOCK
If you're the kind of person who slams the snooze button to snatch some extra ZZZ time this is the alarm clock for you. It wakes you by firing four puzzle pieces up in the air. So? I hear you groan cynically. Well, the only way to turn the dammed thing off is to drag yourself out of bed, find the pieces and put them back together again. Sounds slightly masochist and it is really, which is why we love it. Oh, and it works like a dream - if you're a morning person - or a nightmare if you're not.
