The style Council outlook for Women's Fall / Winter 2007 includes four main themes: Obvious Contrasts, Feeling Blue, Heirloom and Hot Riot.

Obvious Contrasts

- Black and white
- Graphic florals
- Botanicals
- Embroidery
- Monochrome
- Contrast

The ultimate in chic simplicity; black and white makes a return in all combinations imaginable. The basic palette allows for a variety of print and embroidery techniques to be employed. Bold graphic florals are allover, delicate botanicals can be beaded or embroidered on top of and illustrative quirky prints look fresh and modern. Think white embroidery onto black grounds; cording and braid work have instant texture and impact, utilize contrast and play up the positive and negative!

Colors: Use simple, high contrast jet black and stark white or tone it down with charcoal, graphite, chocolate and dove gray.

Feeling Blue

- Shades of Blue
- Nautical
- Denim and Indigo
- Matisse
- Pottery and Ceramics
- Embroidery and Tablecloth Appliques
- Patchwork

Dive into the blue from indigo to turquoise. Mix blue and white for fresh stripes and nautical motifs or print swirling, allover florals onto lightweight grounds. Denims are pieced and patched; multi-hued and multi-textural. Vintage tablecloth embroidery and borders make interesting appliques. Find color inspiration in the paintings of matisse, decorative ceramic tiles and pottery.

Colors: Bathe in a sea of beautiful blues; cerulean, indigo-ink; province and ocean are anchored by China white, poppy and meadow green.

Heirloom

- Neutrals
- White on white
- Vintage
- Embroidery
- Feminine
- Textural contrast
- Lace

The delicacy of white on white creates a pretty feminine story. Combine a variety of subtle neutrals for both print and embroidery. Keep color contrast to a minimum and think texture. Accent eggshell with fresh, white crochet borders. Appliques are faded, vintage fabrics onto clean, crisp cottons or embroider and print tonal florals and paisleys across a variety of surfaces. Detailing is a key; lace, buttons and bows provide texture and femininity.

Colors: A subtle palette of alabaster, chalk, porcelain and calico; use ecru, biscuit and blush for warmth and ivory to highlight.

Hot Riot

- Cultural mish-mash
- Erratic mix of pattern
- Tropicals
- Hot colors
- Asian florals
- Beach looks
- Batiks

Celebrate island life with a riotous mish-mash of pattern and color. Use hot, fruity shades for large scale tropicals, rich batiks and Asian inspired florals. Embroider dramatic blooms or accent with beading, sequins and decorative stitch work. There are no rules here. Take an anything goes attitude to combining print and pattern look to the various cultures of the world for inspiration.

Colors: Delicious fruity shades of tangerine, papaya, lime and hibiscus. Teal, indigo and blackberry add depth and richness.

Insight. Innovation. Authority. In 1982, TSC's founders harnessed more than 10 years of industry insight working for the top designers in New York and Paris, and an intimate knowledge of Asia, to realize their vision-a superior one-stop studio that combined the manufacturing, design, and merchandising processes under one roof. Armed with an intimate understanding of their clients needs, TSC hired the best creative and tech design team in the industry and an innovative new studio was born. Next, TSC enlisted a seasoned sales team with first hand knowledge of the industry, as well as relationships with the top retailers, designers, merchandisers and manufactures here and abroad. And while TSC's objective never changed, our clients' challenges of competing in a global market did. To meet those needs, TSC invested in the smartest technologies and expanded its basic concept to include a total design facility, capable of taking projects from concept to completion. With a focus on employee stability and an ability to move steps ahead of the trends, TSC is now the country's leading design and service studio. What we design and how it is manufactured today is different from what we made last season, last year, twenty years ago. But the essence of TSC hasn't changed; we continue to be creatively driven and technically innovative, with a fashion forward insight on knowing what our customers need.
